The Vulture Culture Experience at Victoria Falls Safari Lodge provides a safe food source for these raptors, allowing guests to witness the impressive sight of vultures feeding while learning about their importance to the environment.
Conservationist Kerri Wolter emphasizes the need for innovative approaches to vulture conservation, including breeding programs and captive facilities. While there are currently no captive facilities in Zimbabwe, Wolter hopes to see one established in Victoria Falls to help protect vulture populations and potentially breed them for future release into the wild.
